Baseball Culture Disrupted

For the past two decades, youth baseball has experienced a transformation in its environment. Competing with an intense pressure to win at all costs has taken priority over cultivating leadership, character and skill development. We’re changing this culture with seven weeks of the most comprehensive baseball development in the country.

NexGen looks to

  • Provide athletes an opportunity for exposure needed to advance to the next level.

  • Provide High School athletes a college experience by playing on college fields and to be coached/instructed by college coaches.

  • Provide players high quality baseball practices including:

    • Positional Fundamentals & Skill Work

    • Pitching Fundamentals & Skill Work

    • Situational Defense

    • Swing Development

    • Offensive Rotations

    • Base Running

    • Short Game Skills

    • Strength and Athletic Development

  • Provide players high quality baseball games (Approximately 100 available innings)

  • Reduce the cost for families who travel out of state to play baseball during the summer.

  • Provide playing time for players to properly prepare for National Circuits such as Perfect Game, PBR, USA Baseball events.

  • Provide the opportunity for top players to train and play with/against each other.

  • Provide player profiles and coaching notes to share with recruiters and track development.

What to expect

NexGen will run weekly for seven weeks beginning in June 2023. Two training groups will be formed;

  • The Underclassmen (2027-2026 Graduates)

  • The Upperclassmen (2025-2023 Graduates)

Each group will be made of a limited number of positional players and pitchers. Each group with have two daily sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and designated game times on Thursdays.

This will be programmed as a collegiate environment, and standards will be set if accepted. Expect to wear daily training gear and proper uniform as requested weekly. All training apparel, on-field uniforms, and gear will be provided as part of the athletes individual kit. We have partnered with some of the industries best suppliers to bring you a truly one of a kind first class experience.

Bring your A-Game and earn your invitation to play on the NexGen Scout team in some of the countries biggest stages, in front of college recruiters, and professional scouts. Events including, but not limited to Perfect Game WWBA (Georgia), PBR Championships (Arizona), UNLV High School Showcase and Invitational (Las Vegas), and the AZ Fall Classic and much more. Play with players from around the country and build your network.

The Locations

The baseball jewel of the Central Coast, Tony Teresa Diamond at Hartnell College will play host facility and playing grounds for all on-field development and games.

The Salinas Storm House will be the indoor home to our hitting, offensive, and strength and conditioning training sessions.
